Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to follow lesson plans and use technology in classroom settings.
• Team teaching and collaboration with staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow WPS and school building policies, rules and procedures.
• Consult with the principal and/or staff to resolve questions and/or concerns.
• Comply with all procedures and schedules.
• Prepare a written summary of work completed and inform the absent teacher of special situations.
• Implement effective pupil management procedures.
• Maintain a positive learning environment.
• Provide lunchroom and recess supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned by building administrators.
• Building substitute schedules are up to 3 school days per week (6.5 hrs/day, up to 19.5 hrs/week).
