Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Full-Time Structural Engineering Intern – Summer 2027 to work from Denver, CO or other listed locations including Seattle and Tacoma. This internship focuses on structural design for buildings and related structures and runs a 12-week program starting May 17, 2027.

Interns will gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to real projects alongside senior staff while developing technical and professional skills.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Structural or Civil Engineering program in the United States with anticipated graduation date Jan 2027 or later.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of structural engineering.
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
• Support preparation of final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and policies.
• No relocation or housing assistance with this internship.
