Job summary

WSP USA invites students to join the Federal Programs Structures Team as a Full-Time Structural Engineering Intern – Summer 2027 in Denver, CO, with other U.S. locations considered. This 12-week program starts May 17, 2027 and targets undergrad/grad students focused on building structures.

You will assist with design, research, field work, and documentation while learning seismic, wind, and long-span concepts in a real project environment.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Structural or Civil Engineering program in the US with an anticipated graduation date Jan 2027 or later.
• Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the US.
• Interest in structural engineering and willingness to advance skills on WSP projects.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of structural engineering and assist with design calculations.
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design documents.
• Help prepare final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
