  • Ability to follow written instructions.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures for install/take down/storage of all equipment used for events.
  • Provide operational support as needed.
  • Ability to work outside the normal shift, as needed.
  • Must have the ability to, as well as meet, the requirements to complete and maintain mandatory training.

Job Description:

Cleans and services public, academic and administrative areas asdirected by management. Executes tasks and assignments in athorough, professional manner to assure a clean, attractive, safeenvironment with minimal interference to others. Performs custodialduties in accordance with established standards and instruction.Takes immediate action to correct any situation, which detractsfrom the positive image of UT, or the attractive appearance of thefacilities.

Observe and respect all department and organizational policies andprocedures. Seek assistance in understanding any procedure orpolicy, which you have questions or concerns about. Work closelywith customers to assure resolution of environmental servicesproblems and attainment of environmental services goals. Treatseach visitor faculty member, student and fellow employee withcourtesy, compassion and respect.

Employee is expected to adhere to the University of Toledo's goalsof excellence in education and research supported by a set ofstandards of conduct and ICare standards at all times.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

  • Remove snow and ice from walkways.
