University of Toledo is seeking a Building Operator to maintain HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, steam systems, and general housekeeping across campus facilities. This role ensures safe operation, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
The position requires 3–5 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, ability to read blueprints and manuals, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Weekend/holiday shifts are possible.

Under general supervision of appropriate Manager, the BuildingOperator performs skilled HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, steam system maintenance & operation, andgeneral housekeeping/maintenance of the assigned buildings orsystems. Performs preventative maintenance on all building systemsand components. The primary function of the position is to perform,repair, upgrade, schedule and organize the upkeep of the assignedbuildings, grounds, facilities, rooms, storage areas, and all ofits equipment, services, and vehicles. The Building Operator willensure the maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and organization ofthe building, its property, vehicles, and its contents.
