An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Building Service Worker to join their Facilities Maintenance Department. This role involves performing essential custodial tasks to ensure the upkeep of municipal buildings, including cleaning, maintenance, and operating heavy-duty equipment. CLASSIFICATION: Building Service Worker - Facilities Maintenance Department
(Afternoon Shift: 4:30 pm - 1:00 am, Monday-Friday: Depending on the needs of the department)
SALARY RANGE: $16.07 - $24.09
Uniform allowance of $500.00 per fiscal year. The allowance is paid out in two lump sums of $250, one during the month of July and the other during the month of January. New Hires will receive their first allotment of $250.00 with their first paycheck.

The selection process will include the completion of a City of Southfield application, a review of the applicant's qualifications, driving record and criminal history check, and an oral board interview. Selected candidates will be subject to an extensive level 3 background investigation prior to employment. Each step of the process must be passed before the applicant will be moved to the next step.
