Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Three years of experience in a security role within a multi-floor or building environment.
  • Two years of experience working in conjunction with a mailroom.
  • At least one year of experience using building management or visitor management systems to check in guests and maintain accurate visitor logs.
  • Security Guard license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Observe building activity, report irregularities, and maintain the security log.
  • Respond to emergencies and participate in crisis situations under the direction of the Security Lead.
  • Operate the building paging system.
  • Process all incoming and outgoing mail, overnight packages, and supply deliveries.
  • Escort staff to safety and assist with arranging car service when needed.
  • Provide backup coverage at security posts as needed.
  • Support conference and reception functions as part of cross-training.
