Job summary

Engineering Consulting Service (ECS) seeks Building Science + Infrastructure Technician professionals to support field testing and observations on projects across our nationwide practice. You will perform routine tests in the field and lab, document results, and communicate with project teams to ensure quality and client satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (associate preferred), ability to lift 40 pounds, and driving as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate/technical degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Certifications preferred but not required (NRCA, IIBEC, AWCI EIFS Inspector, ICC).
• Valid driver’s license if driving for ECS.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing and observations.
• Observe and perform routine field tests per project assignments.
• Maintain positive customer service attitude and ECS Core Values.
• Document test results and observations in reports.
• Calibrate and use field equipment; assist with maintenance of equipment.
• Attend project meetings with EPC staff and clients as requested.
• Support with incidental office or lab tasks if needed.
