Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking Building Science + Infrastructure Technician to join our field team across projects. You will perform tests and observations on construction sites, document results, and support project goals with practical expertise and reliability.

You will work outdoors in varied weather, travel between sites as needed, communicate with clients and ECS staff, and contribute to reports and quality control while growing your technical skills in building science and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or technical degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Certifications preferred (NRCA, IIBEC, AWCI EIFS Inspector, ICC).
• Valid driver's license required
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds, stand for extended periods, walk on uneven ground, and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Test and observe field and laboratory conditions on projects.
• Perform testing for new construction and building systems.
• Document test results and observations in reports.
• Communicate with ECS team and clients daily.
• Calibrate and use field equipment; maintain gear.
• Attend project meetings with staff/clients.
• Assist with office or lab tasks as needed.
• Other duties as requested.

NRCA certification

ICC certifications
