The University of Toledo is seeking a Building Operator to oversee HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and steam system maintenance at the Health Science Campus. Under supervision, you will perform repairs, upgrades, scheduling, and routine upkeep of buildings, rooms, and equipment while ensuring safety and cleanliness of the facilities.
Qualifications include 3–5 years in HVAC/R or related trades, a valid driver’s license, ability to read blueprints, and physical capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.

Under general supervision of appropriate Manager, the Building Operator performs skilled HVAC/R,
plumbing, electrical, steam system maintenance & operation, and general housekeeping/maintenance of the assigned buildings or systems. Performs preventative maintenance on all building systems and components. The primary function of the position is to perform, repair, upgrade, schedule and organize the upkeep of the assigned buildings, grounds, facilities, rooms, storage areas, and all of its equipment, services, and vehicles. The Building Operator will ensure the maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and organization of the building, its property, vehicles, and its contents.
