Job summary

Garver’s Buildings Group in Oklahoma City seeks a Mechanical Engineer to develop and coordinate building mechanical designs, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. You will participate in planning, design, and commissioning across projects, interfacing with clients and internal teams.

The role requires the Fundamentals of Engineering exam, ABET-accredited degree, and 5–10 years of experience in building design and construction, with Revit proficiency and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus (ABET-accredited).
• Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is required.
• 5–10 years of building design and construction experience.
• Proven experience with mechanical design of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
• Experience with Autodesk Revit and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs for Buildings Design Business Line projects.
• Lead planning, design, and commissioning of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
• Coordinate with support disciplines and regional offices.
• Assist project managers in managing projects and timelines.
• Adhere to QA/QC plans and travel to project sites as needed.
