Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dependable Yard Helper for a brick and stone distribution facility in Acworth, GA. The role includes forklift operation, loading/unloading, and organizing the yard, with a 6:30 AM–4:00 PM Monday–Friday schedule and overtime opportunities.

The position pays $20.00 per hour and is full-time, temporary, with benefits such as weekly pay, medical/dental/vision and life insurance, a service bonus after a year on assignment, paid holidays, 401(k) with

Qualifications

1–2 years of forklift experience required.
Experience in yard environment with brick, stone, lumber, or building materials preferred.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
Stable work history and dependable attendance required.
No felony convictions within the last 7 years.

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift safely to move brick, stone, and building materials throughout the yard.
Load and unload trucks while ensuring materials are handled properly and efficiently.
Organize inventory and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly yard environment.
Assist with staging materials and supporting daily yard operations.
Work indoors and outdoors as needed to meet operational demands.
