Job summary

Carlisle Construction Materials is seeking a forklift operator for our Acworth, GA facility. The role focuses on pulling/picking and loading outbound shipments and unloading inbound deliveries, ensuring accurate counts and proper handling of materials.

The position requires a High School diploma and at least 1 year of forklift experience in a manufacturing setting. Candidates should be safety-minded, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year forklift experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Shipping and Receiving.

Responsibilities

• Operates a propane sit-down forklift.
• Sort shipments for destination and group merchandise to be included with or fulfilled in an order.
• Loading of finished materials for transport and unloading of raw materials.
• Moving products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Inspect the forklift to determine the need for repairs and to guarantee safety.
• Verify piece counts on each pallet and compares to label.
• Material handling of all products.
• Follow shipping work orders.
• Other duties as assigned
