Job summary

Stone Center in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a customer-focused sales professional to support our commercial and residential construction business. This in-person role involves assisting customers, preparing quotes, and coordinating with sales and operations teams to move orders.

You will build relationships with contractors, designers, and homeowners, learn our natural stone products, and handle product, delivery, and service issues while staying organized and proactive.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales, customer service, construction, building materials, or related experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working with customers face-to-face, over the phone, and through email.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude, accountability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work full-time in our Cincinnati location.
• Experience in natural stone, masonry, hardscape, landscape supply, building materials, or construction is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in, phone, and email customers with product selection, pricing, and orders.
• Build relationships with contractors, builders, landscapers, and other construction professionals.
• Prepare quotes and assist customers throughout the ordering process.
• Support the outside sales team with customer requests, orders, and project coordination.
• Learn Stone Center's natural stone products and become a trusted resource for customers.
• Help resolve product, delivery, and service issues.
• Coordinate with our yard, fabrication, and delivery teams to keep customer orders moving.
• Assist with day-to-day Cincinnati site operations when needed.
• Help maintain an organized, professional, and customer-ready facility.
• Work closely with team members in both our Cincinnati and Columbus locations.

Stone Center is growing our Cincinnati team and is looking for a customer-focused sales professional to support our expanding commercial and residential construction business.

This is an in-person role for someone who enjoys working directly with contractors, builders, landscapers, designers, and homeowners. You will help customers select the right products, prepare and manage orders, solve problems, and support our outside sales and operations teams.

No stone experience? That is okay. We can teach the products. We are looking for someone who knows how to take care of customers, communicate clearly, stay organized, and take ownership.

Established in 1952, Stone Center is a leading provider and fabricator of natural stone products.

We operate locations and fabrication facilities in Cincinnati and Columbus and primarily work with Indiana Limestone and other natural stone products. Our customers include contractors, builders, landscapers, architects, designers, and homeowners throughout Ohio and the Midwest.

We are a growing team of approximately 30 employees and pride ourselves on strong customer relationships, quality products, teamwork, and taking ownership of the work we do.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

• Base salary: $55,000-$65,000 annually, based on experience

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, in-person
