Job summary

Stone Center is seeking a customer-focused sales professional to support our expanding commercial and residential construction business in Cincinnati. This in-person role works with contractors, builders, landscapers, designers, and homeowners to select products, prepare quotes, and manage orders.

You will collaborate with our outside sales and operations teams, learn natural stone products, and resolve delivery/service issues while helping maintain a professional, customer-ready facility in

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales, customer service, construction, building materials, or related experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working with customers face-to-face, over the phone, and through email.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude, accountability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work full-time in our Cincinnati location.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in, phone, and email customers with product selection, pricing, and orders.
• Build relationships with contractors, builders, landscapers, and other construction professionals.
• Prepare quotes and assist customers throughout the ordering process.
• Support the outside sales team with customer requests, orders, and project coordination.
• Learn Stone Center's natural stone products and become a trusted resource for customers.
• Help resolve product, delivery, and service issues.
• Coordinate with our yard, fabrication, and delivery teams to keep customer orders moving.
• Assist with day-to-day Cincinnati site operations when needed.
• Help maintain an organized, professional, and customer-ready facility.
• Work closely with team members in both our Cincinnati and Columbus locations.
