Job summary

Stone Center in Columbus, OH is seeking a skilled Stone Fabricator for our local shop. You will fabricate natural stone products, read shop drawings, and operate cutting, grinding and carving equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and team collaboration.

The role offers full-time hours on a four 10-hour day schedule, competitive $24–$26/hour pay, paid time off, and strong benefits, including 401(k) with a company match and medical/dental/vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in stone fabrication (limestone, granite or similar).
• Hand-cutting or planer experience required.
• Comfort with small hand tools and a mechanical mindset.
• A manufacturing or shop-floor background.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy material.

Schedule

Full-time, four 10-hour days per week (3-day weekends!)

What You’ll Do

• Fabricate natural stone products (limestone) using hand-cutting and stone planer.
• Read and work from shop drawings
• Operate cutting, grinding, and carving equipment
• Work safely and efficiently, independently and as part of a team

What You Bring

• Experience in stone fabrication (limestone, granite, or similar) – hand-cutting or planer experience required
• Comfort with small hand tools and a mechanical, problem-solving mindset
• A manufacturing or shop-floor background
• Ability to lift and carry heavy material
• A positive, respectful attitude and pride in quality craftsmanship
