Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate in the United States to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement. You’ll engage with customers throughout the day, assist with locating items, and process orders and deliveries to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

The position is part-time, with benefits and opportunities to learn new trades. Associates receive a 10% discount and have access to Lowe’s Track to the Trades program.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information)
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by replenishing shelves
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to improve service
• Prepare department merchandise (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
