Job summary

Hire Velocity is helping a local Georgia building supply company find an Outside Sales Representative. The role focuses on developing relationships with professional contractors and homeowners, presenting material options, and delivering accurate quotes on high-end projects.

You will visit jobsites, assess customer needs, and help select the right lumber, decking, doors, windows, and related building materials to complete projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in building-material sales is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to understand construction plans and read project specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
• Identify new sales opportunities and prospective customers.
• Make sales calls and conduct regular customer visits.
• Visit active jobsites and meet with contractors, builders, homeowners, and other decision-makers.
• Consult with customers to recommend products and prepare accurate material takeoffs and quotes.
• Generate detailed quotes and proposals and follow up on opportunities.
• Assist customers with product selection, availability, and applications.
• Communicate effectively with customers and the sales team throughout the process.
