Job summary

J&L Building Materials in Frazer, PA is seeking an Inside Sales team member to staff the counter, engage customers, and drive sales with a strong focus on service. You will build relationships, demonstrate product knowledge, enter customer data, process orders, and help coordinate deliveries while supporting branch goals.

This Full-time role offers starting pay of 24.75 per hour, full medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match after six months, profit sharing, PTO and paid holidays; a path

Qualifications

• Bachelor or associate degree OR GED with 1 year related sales experience.
• Familiarity with building material industry or construction/contracting experience.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS/inventory systems.
• Exceptional customer service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal salesperson and ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Enter new customer data and sales data into the database.
• Make outbound follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by phone and email.
• Handle inbound sales leads and convert calls into sales.
• Prepare quotes, process orders, and assist with deliveries.
