Job summary

J&L Building Materials Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales professional to join our team at the Yeadon, PA branch. You will engage customers at the counter, assist with product selection, and drive sales while delivering exceptional service.

The role requires strong customer focus, knowledge of building materials, and comfort with lead follow-up and order processing. Starting wage is $24.75 per hour. We offer medical, dental, and vision coverage, a Health Savings Account, a 401(k) with employer

Qualifications

• Bachelor or associate degree in a business-related field preferred.
• GED or high school diploma with at least one year of related sales experience acceptable.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Familiarity with building materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal salesperson at the counter and maintain high customer service levels.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Enter new customer data and sales data into the database.
• Make outbound follow-up calls by telephone and email.
• Handle inbound sales leads and convert to sales.
• Resolve customer complaints through proper channels.
• Provide product demonstrations on request.
• Prepare sales orders and quotes; discuss delivery times.
