SPEC Building Materials Corporation is seeking an Outside Sales Team member to grow product sales, maintain relationships, and promote the full SPEC line with contractors. This in-person, full-time role supports a wide network of builders and distributors in the region.

The position emphasizes hunting new business, meeting sales targets, and delivering exceptional service, all while communicating effectively and maintaining professional vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Maintain a successful track record selling building materials to contractors.
• Demonstrate and practice excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Possesses strong math skills.
• Possesses strong computer skills.
• The ability to manage one's time effectively with little supervision.
• Possesses strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Maintain a current and valid state-issued driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting for new accounts through cold calling, providing leads, and networking.
• Meet and exceed pre-determined sales goals.
• Maintain existing customer base with excellent customer service.
• Understand and advise customers on the products and services that SPEC Building Materials offers.
• Maintain good relationships with our valued vendors.
