Job summary

PARR is seeking a Delivery Assistant to support the Delivery Driver in moving products from the warehouse to job sites. You will represent our company with safety, reliability, and strong customer service at every delivery.

The role involves loading/unloading materials, maintaining truck and yard cleanliness, and keeping accurate mileage, fuel, and delivery records while staying compliant with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Familiarity with GPS devices or map applications.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Knowledge of building materials.
• Ability to speak, write, and read English required.
• Shoes that are puncture resistant, slip resistant, made of leather or composite material, and have ankle support.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load and unload building materials from commercial motor vehicle.
• Legally, safely, and efficiently travel to destinations through public and private roads.
• Complete mileage and fuel usage reports.
• Demonstrates commitment to on time and in full deliveries.
• Follow delivery procedures by taking photos of delivered shipment after completing each delivery.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Maintain yard, warehouse, and vehicle cleanliness during course of work.
