We are hiring a Delivery Assistant to support the Delivery Driver, move products from the warehouse to job sites, and uphold safety and customer service standards in a fast-paced environment.
Successful candidates will assist with loading, route safety, device usage for reporting, and maintaining a professional appearance.

A Delivery Assistant is responsible for assisting the Delivery Driver in the movement of product from the main warehouse to the delivery site while acting in a safe and professional manner. The ideal Delivery Assistant is driven to maintain safety regulations and above and beyond customer service. Depending on the location, the Delivery Assistant reports directly to the General Manager, Production Manager, or Shop Foreman and interacts daily with customers, drivers, dispatchers, receivers, and load-builders.
Interpersonal Skills Ability to work cordially, professionally, diplomatically and with a high level of customer service in a dynamic environment for both internal and external customers Must maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all information related to company finances and records, particularly, cost of goods purchased and sold Ability and willingness to identify processes, tools and/or procedures that may be improved upon to improve the workplace and outcomes for our customers Ability to function independently, as part of a team, and as a leader within your own cohort with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to excellence Ability to think and respond quickly, positively, and professionally to constantly changing circumstances Ability to appropriately manage stress and interact with others Support and contribute to effective safety and risk management efforts by adhering to established policies and procedures, maintaining a safe environment, promoting accident prevention, and identifying and reporting potential liabilities
This position will be working at a millworks facility and make deliveries at jobsites in all weather conditions.
