Job summary

PARR, a leading homebuilding supplier in the United States, is hiring a Delivery Assistant in Oregon. You will help the Delivery Driver move materials from the main warehouse to job sites, while upholding safety and outstanding customer service.

You will interact daily with customers, drivers, dispatchers, and crew members to ensure on-time deliveries. The ideal candidate is safety‑minded, reliable, and ready to learn best practices for loading, strapping, and driving.

Qualifications

  • Requires ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Must be able to represent Parr with customers and vendors professionally.
  • Familiarity with GPS devices or map applications is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload building materials for deliveries.
  • Travel to destinations via public and private roads.
  • Complete mileage and fuel usage reports.
  • Take photos of delivered shipments to confirm delivery.
  • Maintain clean and organized yard, warehouse, and vehicle.
  • Promote safe work practices and adhere to safety rules.
  • Assist Delivery Driver and support team with routine duties.

Our customers and community members know that they can rely on us for Legendary Service and quality products.Pay: $19.44 - $23.59A Delivery Assistant is responsible for assisting the Delivery Driver in the movement of product from the main warehouse to the delivery site while acting in a safe and professional manner.
