Job summary

The Salvation Army Clearwater Command seeks a dedicated custodian/janitor to clean and maintain multiple facilities and grounds on a daily basis. You will perform maintenance, janitorial, and housekeeping tasks while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and two years of janitorial experience, valid state driver’s license, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years’ experience performing general custodian/janitorial duties, and/or general maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs; ability to read and communicate in English; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain multiple facilities and grounds daily.
• Perform maintenance, janitorial, and housekeeping tasks per policies.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms; replenish supplies.
• Clean breakrooms; ensure a safe, hygienic environment.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and wax floors; sweep sidewalks.
• Empty trash; collect trash from grounds.
• Monitor lighting; change bulbs as needed.
• Clean windows; dust and polish furniture and fixtures.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITYSchedule/Hours: Monday through Friday; Variable; 7:00AM to 4:00PMThis position is responsible for:Cleans and maintains multiple Clearwater Command facilities and grounds to ensure the neatness and cleanliness of the same on a daily basis.
