Job summary

Roofstock is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service rental properties across multiple sites in Columbia, SC. The role focuses on timely repairs, inspections, and turnovers to ensure properties are in peak condition. You will work independently, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors using mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance: Perform routine and emergency repairs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Turnovers: Prepare vacant units for new move-ins (make-readies).
• Inspections: Conduct move-in/out and property onboarding audits.
• QA: Audit work completed by external vendors.
• Field Ops: Manage service tasks via mobile apps and post legal notices.

Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour (Base pay may be adjusted based on experience, licensure level, and location.)

HVAC Certification: HVAC Type II Certification (required), Universal Certification (preferred)

Location: Columbia, SC
