Green Alpha Property Management in Wake Forest, NC, manages a broad SE portfolio and is expanding a Columbia, SC apartment complex team. This full-time Maintenance Technician role offers 40 hours per week at $20 per hour. Willingness to learn and strong work ethic are essential to succeed.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, preventive maintenance, ensuring systems are operational, and moving units to a ready-for-rent state. Proficiency with AppFolio is a plus.

Qualifications

• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• 1+ years of maintenance experience.
• Computer experience required.
• Drivers license and ability to drive to properties; legal to work in United States.

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests/work orders promptly and resolve issues; delegate as needed.
• Support preventive maintenance across complexes.
• Ensure facilities and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting) are in good working order.
• Ensure units are move-in ready (checklists and on-site visits).
• Update and maintain work orders in AppFolio (in-house PM software).
• Maintain clean properties with no debris.

Green Alpha Property Management is the property management business of a real estate management and commercial investment company headquartered in Wake Forest, NC and with a strong presence throughout the Southeast United States. In this full-time role (40 hours a week) you will support our apartment complex in Columbia, SC. Willingness to learn is a critical trait this individual must have. This pays $20 per hour.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Respond timely to requests/work orders and ensure efficient problem resolution, and delegate as appropriate.
• Support Preventative maintenance strategies amongst complexes.
• Helps ensure that facilities and related systems are in good working order (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, exterior, etc.)
• Helps ensure that units are 100% ready for move in (checklists, physically visiting units, etc.)
• Updates and maintains work order management through AppFolio (our in house property management software)
• Maintains clean properties by ensuring that complexes are clear of trash and other debris.

Qualifications

• HVAC/EPA certification preferred
• Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical experience preferred
• 1+ years of maintenance experience
• Computer experience required
• Strong desire to uphold personal honesty, integrity, and work ethic
• Maintains a passionate and enthusiastic attitude
• Drivers License and ability to drive to various properties
• Show Legal documentation showing ability to work in the United States
