Job summary

Insight Global in Mansfield, MA is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for a full-time day shift (Mon-Fri, 7-4) with OT and occasional on-call. The role may convert to permanent for the right candidate.

You will perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems and troubleshoot repairs in a fast-paced environment. Site responsibilities include safety inspections, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining repair logs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in building maintenance or related field.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; ability to diagnose issues and repair independently.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physical dexterity and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Inspect building and premises for safety hazards and perform necessary maintenance to eliminate hazards.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies and safety standards.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and tools needed for repair and maintenance tasks.
• Document maintenance and repair work and maintain a log for future reference.

Hour Shift - Monday - Friday 7 - 4 (Morning Shift) MGR has flexibility

OT is a sometimes needed and have some on call

This role will go PERM if it's the right candidate - Hourly Pay at Full Time $30-$35

This person needs to be on the GO - this is a fast environment

Site walk in morning, check in with customers, go through work orders

Single technician site with a traveling manager based on site

No License is required if they have an HVAC that would be a plus

Customer Service and Safety is very important
