Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide electrical and mechanical support across assigned facilities in Redwood City. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to service requests, and help maintain a safe, comfortable workplace environment.

The role covers HVAC, lighting, power distribution, plumbing and general building systems. Candidates should have 2–4 years of related experience, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and be comfortable with ladders.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of related work experience in repair or maintenance.
• Trade school, union training, military service, or college is desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair building equipment including lighting, power distribution, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and facility emergencies in a timely manner.
• Conduct facility walkthroughs to identify and address potential issues.
• Support office reconfigurations, furniture moves, and event setup/breakdown.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair projects.
• Maintain accurate work orders, maintenance records, and equipment documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
