Job summary

Keolis Commuter Services in Austin, TX is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across our facilities.

You will oversee security systems, coordinate subcontracted work, enforce OSHA-compliant safety procedures, and perform routine maintenance including electrical/plumbing, HVAC service, and grounds keeping.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial/commercial equipment maintenance and repair equipment is required.
• Experience with plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, security and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Manage building security needs, such as maintaining card access systems and security camera systems.
• Provide oversight and selection of subcontracted work.
• Establish and communicate health and safety procedures in accordance with OSHA standards and company policies.
• Full technical knowledge of facility systems and preventative maintenance practices.
• Collaborate and coordinate with management staff to ensure a smooth operation.
• Support development or improvement of existing and future facility projects.
• Perform routine building maintenance to include electrical and plumbing repair, HVAC service, and grounds keeping.
• Other duties as required.

Job description

• Experience in industrial/commercial equipment maintenance and repair equipment required
• Experience with plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, security and computer systems.

Skills:

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently while managing multiple activities

• Handle basic maintenance, repairs and cleaning
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Able to work without direct supervision
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during shift

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for Inspection, maintenance and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
