Job summary

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe seeks a Building Maintenance Worker responsible for unskilled and semi‑skilled tasks that support the tribe’s facilities, equipment, and grounds in Tucson, AZ. Responsibilities include carpentry, painting, basic electrical and plumbing work, HVAC routine maintenance, door/windows repair, and setup for meetings or events.

Candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED with at least six months’ general maintenance experience; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

Electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general HVAC maintenance and minor repair work.
Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment.
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

Perform semi-skilled and manual building maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, and repairs.
Maintain lighting, electrical switches, and fixtures; replace components as needed.
Maintain plumbing fixtures, clear lines, and repair leaks.
Service HVAC systems, change filters and replace parts as needed.
Repair doors, windows, and hardware; assemble basic furniture and shelving.
Support events by setting up rooms and moving equipment.
