Job description

Compensation range: $23/hr - $30/hr

Engineering certifications preferred (Pool, Electric, Boiler, etc.)

Nationally: $18.80 - $24.50/hour

*Rate depends upon state/market*

OTO Development is pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Building Maintenance Supervisor.

What will you be doing most days?

1. Respond to guest requests in a timely manner and provide excellent guest service.
2. Perform preventative maintenance duties and procedures as needed.
3. Lead a team of Building Maintenance Tech I and II to complete tasks as assigned by the Computerized Maintenance Management System (QUORE).
4. Perform various tasks assigned by the Assistant General Manager and General Manager.
5. Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting projects.
6. Oversee all third-party outside contractors.
7. Respond to emergency situations promptly.
8. Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
9. Complete other duties as assigned.

What are the requirements for this position?

1. Building Maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or multi-family properties.
2. Currently managing at least one subordinate.
3. Proficient knowledge of hand tools and maintenance duties.
4. Good time management skills to complete work within established parameters.
5. Customer service focus with the ability to anticipate guest needs.

Physical Requirements for this Position

This is a physically demanding role. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods.

Travel Requirements

This position requires little to no travel outside the property and surrounding area.
