The City of Little Rock is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform essential repair and maintenance tasks, including carpentry and painting, on city buildings. This role requires technical skills and a valid driver's license and may involve two years of relevant experience in building trades. Ideal candidates will demonstrate quality workmanship and a commitment to maintaining public infrastructure.
To perform carpentry, painting, and related duties in the repair, maintenance, and remodeling of City buildings.
This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening.

These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of a high school or vocational technical school course in the building trades, and two (2) years of experience in routine maintenance and repair of building structures utilizing carpentry, painting, or related building trades skills, and one (1) year of personal computer experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
