The City of Little Rock seeks a skilled maintenance worker to handle carpentry, painting, and repair tasks for city buildings. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience in building maintenance, complemented by a relevant high school education. A valid Arkansas Driver's License is required prior to employment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of public infrastructure in the community.
To perform carpentry, painting, and related duties in the repair, maintenance, and remodeling of City buildings.
This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening.

These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of a high school or vocational technical school course in the building trades, and two (2) years of experience in routine maintenance and repair of building structures utilizing carpentry, painting, or related building trades skills, and one (1) year of personal computer experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
