Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Sandpoint, Idaho, is hiring a Building Maintenance Laborer for the 26-27 winter season. Returning staff only. Wage range $18.00–$20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include snow/debris removal, operating a trash compactor and baler, and general maintenance while providing friendly guest service. The role requires a valid driver's license preferred, ability to work outdoors in all weather, and physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Remove snow from decks and walkways using a snowblower and shovel.

• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe appearance while delivering friendly guest service.
• Perform other maintenance duties as directed by the Facility and Grounds Manager.

Remove trash and cardboard and deposit in compactor and baler and conduct other maintenance functions. **Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities**:* Operates a snowblower and shovel to remove snow and ice from decks, walkways.* Operate trash compactor and cardboard baler.* Must present a neat, clean and safe appearance and deal with guests and owners in a pleasant, service-oriented manner.* Utility Worker will perform other maintenance duties as needed or as directed by Facility and Grounds Manager.**Secondary Responsibilities**:* Must have or be willing to obtain extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities and activities.* Will initiate guest contact on a daily basis to ensure their comfort, answer questions and provide general assistance whenever possible.* Other duties as assigned. **Specific Job Skills**:License/Certifications- Valid Driver’s license preferred.Technical- NonePhysical Capabilities- Able to stand or walk up to 8 hours a day, lift up to 50lbs regularly and up to 100lbs with assistance.
