Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair all aspects of commercial and industrial real estate across multiple buildings, with business mileage reimbursed.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, fire sprinkler systems, building controls, doors, windows, caulking, and other property issues.
  • Read and utilize wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings, and blueprints.
  • Perform HVAC troubleshooting including RTUs, MAUs, VAVs, etc.
  • Conduct plumbing repairs and troubleshooting, including water closets, urinals, faucets, pumps, pipes, and valves.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on physical structures and systems.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors as needed.
  • Respond to service requests and maintain accurate records of maintenance and expenditures.
  • Ensure safety by monitoring property conditions and correcting unsafe situations immediately.
  • Manage routine maintenance and inspect tools and equipment.
  • Identify utility cut-offs and prepare related maps.
  • Maintain grounds and perform safety duties.
  • Assist with project management, bids, and property inspections.
  • Manage subcontracted work like snow removal and landscaping.
  • Perform after-hours on-call duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial building maintenance preferred.
  • High school diploma, GED, or related experience/training.
  • EPA 608 certification required.
  • Tools and transportation necessary.
  • Strong technical skills and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Energetic, resourceful, and customer-oriented.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to approach problems logically and creatively.
  • Confident, positive attitude and teamwork skills.
