Job summary

Union Depot in Austin, TX is seeking a Building Maintenance Engineer to operate and perform minor maintenance on boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, pumps and related systems to maintain optimal performance.

The role follows a Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm shift with a union environment and benefits; compensation ranges from $28 to $35 per hour depending on experience and market data.

Responsibilities

• Operate, minor maintenance and optimization of boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, compressors, instrumentation, generators, pumps and related electrical/mechanical systems.
• Monitor performance to achieve maximum efficiency and reliable operation on a daily basis.
• Respond to equipment issues and coordinate with facilities team as needed.

Job description

The Building Maintenance Engineer performs skilled work in the operation, minor maintenance and of boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, compressors, instrumentation, generators, pumps, heating, air conditioning, ventilating, lighting power, water, water treatment and other electrical and mechanical systems to achieve maximum performance and efficiency of operation on a daily basis. This role will be for a Class A office space in Austin, Texas.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay:$28 - $35
