Job summary

Summit Place Senior Living, a Silvercrest Community, is seeking a Building Maintenance Assistant in Minnesota. The role runs full-time with daytime hours (7:00am - 3:30pm) and on-call rotation, offering opportunities to maintain the property and support residents.

You will collaborate with leadership to meet annual goals, oversee apartment turnaround for showings, and communicate maintenance schedules. Prior maintenance or handyman experience in senior housing is preferred, with boiler and pool

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years of maintenance or handyman experience in senior housing preferred.
• Active Boiler and Pool license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role in diligently maintaining the physical plan and grounds.
• Work with the Director to set annual goals and implement strategies to achieve them.
• Work to turn around apartments for showcasing and renting to prospective residents.
• Actively communicate scheduled maintenance.
• Assist the department director with tasks as assigned.
