Job summary

Supply-chain in North Carolina is seeking a Building Maintenance technician to oversee the general upkeep of the building and facilities, including water, heating, air conditioning, and electrical systems.

The role operates on a 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with starting pay of $22.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of facility maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years of handyman/building maintenance experience.
• Minor repairs in a warehouse environment, painting, hanging items, plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC system.
• Perform minor maintenance for water and electrical repairs.
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide maintenance to material handling equipment to ensure service reliability.
• Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as floors, walls, doors, etc.
• Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.
• Complete required reports when maintenance tasks are completed.
• Answer security/alarm calls as needed.

• Minor repairs in a warehouse environment, painting, hanging items, plumbing.
