Job summary

MSI Express, Inc. is seeking a facility maintenance technician to ensure reliable building operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks.

You will support preventative maintenance programs and respond to maintenance requests to keep equipment and systems functioning. The role requires 2+ years of facility maintenance experience, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, read and follow directions, and work safely from a defined shift.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of facility maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Ability to lift/move product up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop or crouch frequently.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at higher elevations.

Key Accountabilities:

• Maintain HVAC system
• Do minor maintenance as needed for water and electrical repairs
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs
• Provide maintenance to material handling equipment to ensure service reliability
• Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as floors, walls, doors, etc.
• Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order
• Complete required reports when maintenance tasks are completed
• Answer security/alarm calls as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Capability Profile Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

• Ability to work specified shift
• Ability to work for the set wage amount
• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
• Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions
• Basic knowledge of mechanics, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
• Ability to lift/move product that may weigh up to 100 pounds

• Have appropriate hand, eye, and foot coordination to properly use hand tools and mechanical equipment

Minimum Experience 2+ years of previous facility maintenance experience
