Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Building Maintenance professional for the 1st shift (9am–5pm, Mon-Fri). The role starts at $22.25 per hour, with opportunities for growth through training and advancement.

You will perform maintenance across floors, walls, doors, HVAC, water, electrical systems and equipment, while ensuring safety, reliability and timely reporting. This position supports DHL's status as a Great Place to Work.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse experience is required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on floors, walls, doors and related Carpentry tasks.
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintain HVAC systems and assist with water, heating, air conditioning, and electrical maintenance.
• Provide maintenance to material handling equipment to ensure service reliability.
• Ensure safety equipment is in proper working order and complete required reports.

Responsible for the general maintenance of the building and facilities. Perform tasks assigned by management.

Required Qualifications: 1 year of warehouse experience

Preferred Qualifications: Must be mechanically inclined. Must be able to use hand tools and power tools.

This position requires excellent troubleshooting, communication, organization and task prioritization skills.

Role Purpose

Responsible for the general maintenance of the building and facilities including water, heating, air conditioning, and electrical maintenance.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain HVAC system.
• Do minor maintenance as needed for water and electrical repairs.
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide maintenance to material handling equipment to ensure service reliability.
• Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as floors, walls, doors, etc.
• Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.
• Complete required reports when maintenance tasks are completed.
• Answer security/alarm calls as needed.

Required Education and Experience

• 2+ years of previous facility maintenance experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
