WesleyLife is seeking a Building Maintenance professional to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained environment for residents at Heritage House in Atlantic, IA. You will perform complex repairs across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry while coordinating with contractors and supporting residents’ needs.

The role requires independent work, strong attention to safety, and a commitment to a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule with weekend rotation.

• 5 years of hands-on experience in construction trades or facility maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and lead tasks across departments.

About the Role: Building Maintenance

As a Maintenance professional, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained environment for the residents at Heritage House in Atlantic.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance and repairs in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanics.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain grounds and assist with seasonal tasks like snow removal.
• Oversee and coordinate with external contractors.
• Transport residents to and from appointments.

Schedule

• Full‑time, 7 AM‑3:30 PM, rotating weekends and on‑call support.

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands‑on experience in construction trades or facility maintenance (preferred).
• Proven ability to work independently and lead tasks across departments.

• Starting pay range: $18–$25 per hour, based on experience.
