Job summary

SAFEbuilt is seeking a talented Building Inspector to join our team of professionals. You’ll perform field inspections during various stages of construction, read plans when required, and report violations while maintaining records.

This role requires extensive knowledge of local building codes, the ability to interpret codes in the field, and strong communication skills. You will work in both office and field settings across the region, with opportunities for certifications and career

Qualifications

• Experience in municipal code inspections preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record required.
• Ability to obtain PA UCC or ICC Certifications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections during various stages of construction.
• Read and examine plans and specifications when required.
• Report violations and maintain files/records.
• Perform other related duties as required.
