Prince William County Government is seeking a Construction Inspector – Building to inspect residential, commercial, and industrial structures for compliance with the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code, review construction documents, and educate stakeholders on regulations. The role requires data entry and report maintenance using county systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 2 years related experience.
• 3+ years of Building Construction experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Residential, Commercial, or Industrial construction projects for code compliance.
• Research projects and document inspection results in county system.
• Assist customers in navigating inspection processes.
