Job summary

Bemidji Area Schools is seeking a Facilities Maintenance staff member to perform preventative and corrective maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment. The role contributes to a safe and inviting environment for students, staff and the public.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining heavy equipment as needed, with knowledge of pay loaders, skid steer loaders and industrial mowers preferred.

This is a job level 6 ($22.31-23.89), Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day (6:00 a.m. � 2:30 p.m. with a half hour duty free meal break) position. The purpose of this position is to perform preventative and corrective maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment; providing a safe and inviting environment for students, staff and the general public. Applicants must be able to operate and maintain heavy equipment; knowledge of pay loaders, skid steer loaders and industrial mowers is preferred.

The conditions of employment are in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Custodian and Maintenance Personnel.
