Bemidji Area Schools is seeking a Building, Grounds and Equipment Maintenance worker to perform preventative and corrective maintenance of district facilities, outdoor spaces, and fleet equipment. You will operate and maintain heavy equipment such as pay loaders, skid steer loaders and industrial mowers to keep campuses safe and inviting for students, staff and the public.
This is a job level 6 position with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8 hours per day, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

This is a job level 6 ($22.31-23.89), Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day (6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. with a half hour duty free meal break) position. The purpose of this position is to perform preventative and corrective maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment; providing a safe and inviting environment for students, staff and the general public. Applicants must be able to operate and maintain heavy equipment; knowledge of pay loaders, skid steer loaders and industrial mowers is preferred.
The conditions of employment are in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Custodian and Maintenance Personnel.
