Job summary

Bemidji Area Schools is seeking a Building, Grounds and Equipment Maintenance worker to perform preventative and corrective maintenance of district facilities, outdoor spaces, and fleet equipment. You will operate and maintain heavy equipment such as pay loaders, skid steer loaders and industrial mowers to keep campuses safe and inviting for students, staff and the public.

This is a job level 6 position with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8 hours per day, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to operate and maintain heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of pay loaders, skid steer loaders and industrial mowers preferred.
• Must be able to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on buildings, grounds and equipment.
