Job summary

Thief River Falls SD 564 is seeking a Head Maintenance staff member for Challenger Elementary School. The role includes responsibilities such as training cleaners, maintaining the building, and performing repairs such as plumbing and electrical work. Success in previous supervision is preferred.

Hours

8 hours/day (Currently 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Specific shift time subject to change at the discretion of the Building and Grounds Manager based upon need)

Duties

Training and supervision of cleaners. Set up and tear down for school activities per building schedule. Maintain school buildings and grounds. Performs maintenance/repairs including, but not limited to, heating, plumbing and electrical assignments. Specific assignments to be determined at the discretion of the Manager of Building and Grounds and may vary based upon need.

Requirements

Must have (or be able to obtain within 6 months) boilers license; knowledge and ability to safely operate maintenance equipment; good background in floor maintenance, carpentry, electrical, heating and general maintenance. Preference given to candidate with demonstrated successful supervision experience.

Salary and Benefits

• $20.66-$23.63/hour
