Job summary

Intertek is seeking an Entry Level Field Testing Technician in York, Pennsylvania to join the Building Enclosure Testing team. This role involves assisting with field testing, building inspections, and on-the-job training with travel most weeks, often Monday through Friday.

A shared company vehicle is provided for work travel. Responsibilities include field testing projects, forensic investigations of failures, reporting, and coordinating project execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with hand and power tools is preferred.
• Ability to learn building enclosure concepts and testing standards.

Responsibilities

• Field testing projects and building envelope testing as assigned.
• Forensic investigations of building envelope failures.
• Prepare and submit accurate reports on all projects.
• Provide project coordination including planning, scheduling, execution and reporting.
• Communicate with clients and project team regarding site observations and testing results.
