Job summary

NOVA Engineering & Environmental in Kennesaw, GA is seeking an entry-level to mid-level Building Enclosure Technician to join our Building Envelope Consulting team. You will work on field testing, inspections, and quality control for commercial projects, gaining hands-on experience with roofing, waterproofing, glazing, and façade systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in commercial roofing, glazing, curtain wall, waterproofing, exterior facade construction, or related fields.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of roofing, waterproofing, window, curtain wall, storefront, facade, and other building enclosure systems.
• Conduct performance testing per ASTM, AAMA, ANSI, TAS, and related standards.
• Assist with water infiltration testing, air leakage testing, and QA evaluations of exterior components.
• Observe construction activities and verify compliance with project specs and industry best practices.
• Evaluate workmanship and installation practices for roofing, waterproofing, glazing, facade, and exterior walls.
